The police said they found important clues which helped them catch those responsible for the attack. They're now searching in Arnas and Mahore, places where militants were active in the past.

The police think militants from across the Line of Control in Rajouri and Poonch district might be behind the attack. The dense forests between these areas make it possible for them to move around.

Kanda, where the attack happened, seems to be a route often used by militants. They usually come through Sunderbani and Nowshera sectors, trek over hills, and use local paths to reach their target areas.

These areas, like Narkote, Prankote, and Dakkikote, are remote and not easily accessible by roads. It takes a long trek to get there, and militants often hide in these places.

The crackdown by the police in Reasi, including remote areas, came after a security review by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The police are determined to catch those responsible and keep everyone safe. They're asking people to be alert and report any suspicious activities.
